Captain Ad has different payout currencies for traffic from different countries, currently Euro and US-Dollar. To accelerate the payout calculation, we have modified the handling of currencies beginning November, 1st 2009 and now calculate the payouts in two steps: The first step is to calculate the payouts exclusively in Euro. If a publisher’s account is kept in US-Dollar, the payouts will be converted into US-Dollar in the second step.
Since this is just a technical modification, nothing will change in the publisher’s user interface. If your account is in US-Dollar there might be some slight fluctuations of the CPM since we will convert your daily earnings from Euro into US-Dollar at the end of every day using the latest exchange rate.
If you have been paid in US-Dollar, we will continue to pay you in US-Dollar. If you have been paid in EUR, we will continue to pay you in EUR - this will of course remain unaffected.
